Let the locals guide you to our favorite “secret spots” along the Blue Ridge Parkway and in our National Forests. Home to 250+ waterfalls and miles of hiking trails, our protected forests are an incredible retreat from the city. Our tours provide a unique blend of storytelling, sightseeing and nature discovery! We visit historical sights and stunning waterfalls, and even enjoy wild food foraging on all of our tours.
Our aim to provide a soul-nurturing experience in the outdoors is the reason why our guests return to experience these mountains with us, again and again! My husband and I reserved a tour of Catawba falls in Asheville. Our guide Randy was very knowledgeable, energetic, and attentive to our small group.
Randy shared interesting facts about the local plant life that was very educational and fun. He made sure we were well looked after and ready to extend a support arm while traversing uneven terrain.
The falls were breathtaking and Randy was quick to offer taking a picture of us with the beautiful backdrop. I highly recommend this tour.

Keith was a great tour guide that made the best of the day despite the weather. He was prepared with rain gear for everyone. Keith drove us to a bunch of different areas, which he was very knowledgeable about. He was super chill and easy to talk to, which made for a great day.

We're glad we went with someone to guide us around so we could make the most of our time there. Jevin & Maggie. Kieth was an excellent tour host and guide. This was Erica's and myself first trip to Asheville for pleasure and relaxation.
We were also celebrating our birthdays! We really didn't know what all to expect from the trip and hiking, but were comforted by Keith's overview of how the day would proceed. He also made certain that we understood distance and things of that nature before leaving hotel. We were picked up on time! The van was comfortable and clean!
Kieth was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and land. It was really great to hear how things got up an running in the region. The trails were walked at a comfortable speed.
Navigation of the trails were great and viewing of waterfalls were more than we bargained for. I really cant say enough about this tour to do it justice. This will definitely be on the top of our list for the next visit. If you are in town and want to have some fun hiking trials and capturing moments at waterfalls, do not hesitate to book a tour with Tumblestone Tours and Transportation! There is no better way to spend your time or money!
